Introduction

Our affiliate program provides you a way to participate in our products success by recommending Pointstone Software products to your  friends, relatives, co-workers, business contacts, clients, etc.. We realize that many of our users are in a position to make such recommendations, and want you to be part of our sales team.

What is an Affiliate Program?

An affiliate program is a marketing system that allows web site owners to become "affiliates" of a merchant and sell products from their own web sites to earn commissions. An affiliate refers customers to the merchant for processing of the sale and collects a commission on every purchase the customer makes.  There are many companies that manage affiliate programs. We're using eSellerate, RegNow and Plimus.

How much money can I make?

If you become an affiliate for our products, you will earn from 30% to 50% commission on every new sale that you bring to our site. For example, for every copy of our Mega Bundle, on a 30% comission plan, you will earn $18.00.

How does the variable commission works?

If you can generate sales over $250/month we have several commision plans available depending on the volume of sales you can deliver. Please contact us for further information.

How does it work?

You will place a link to us on your site using the special link buttons or text URLs which we provide. When a customer clicks on that link on your site, we will keep track of that customer and ensure that you earn a commission for their purchases. Even if they purchase the software days or weeks later, you will still earn a commission. 

What tracking technologies are used to ensure I get the commission?

Our exclusive affiliate technology will automatically hardcode your Affiliate ID, assigned to you when you enroll in the affiliate program, into the purchase link in the software. This way if you offer one of our products as a trial download to others, this unique technology GUARANTEES that you will be recorded as the affiliate and will receive credit for the sales generated from your downloads, thereby insuring that you will receive the commissions due you.

Also, if you bring a customer to our web site using any of the affiliate links provided, the customer will be served special order and download links with your affiliate ID.

Besides the hardcoded links in the downloaded software, we also offer backup cookie tracking so even if your customer decides to use a link other than the buy link in the software to make his purchase, the cookies provide some additional insurance that each affiliate will receive credit for the sales attributed to their downloads.

Can I send e-mail ads?

YES!  But our affiliate programs have strict guidelines about the use of e-mail "spam". Be sure to review these guidelines carefully when you sign up as an affiliate.  If Pointstone Software receives too much "hate mail" about receiving your unsolicited e-mail, you will be dropped from the program.

If, however, you have a listserver or newsletter of people who like to listen to what you have to say, then by all means go ahead.  Make the appropriate changes to the link, to make it work in textual form.
